We respect your privacy and do not rent, sell, or exchange our donor information or mailing lists.
We provide this Privacy Statement to make you aware of our privacy and security practices, and to inform you about the way your information is collected and used. Once you choose to provide us personally identifiable information (any information by which you can be identified) either online or offline, you can be assured that it will only be used to support your relationship with Send Me.
Send Me is a grass-roots organization. The only information collected through the website is that which is necessary to complete an online financial transaction. Donors are not contacted for research, Communication and notifications are primarily within the scope of the donor’s transaction, but could be used to provide donors with ministry and project updates. The types of personal information we may collect include name, contact and billing information, transaction and payment information
By making a donation a donor may be added to our mailing list. If donations are not made, ministry partners can “opt-in” to receive updates, notifications, and event information by request. There are two ways to opt-in. One is to Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know you would like to be placed on our Email list. The second is to agree to becoming a personal prayer partner for a short-term missionary who knows you. All ministry partners who receive Emails from Send Me also have the option to opt-out (unsubscribe) to the mailing list.
Use and disclosure of information
Send Me specifically uses the information we collect to help you complete a transaction, and communicate back to you regarding your transaction(s). The information collected through your donation may also be used to provide you with ministry and project updates. Credit card and/or checking account information is used only for payment processing and is not retained for other purposes. At this time, Send Me does not utilize 3rd-party demographic data, (such as age, gender and interest) to analyze our website usability or donor experience
Who we share your data with
Send Me does not use your personal data, except as necessary to provide services, or as otherwise necessary by law. Send Me does not rent, sell, or lease personal data with others. However, Send Me does retain third parties to facilitate our services, such as payment processors and Email service providers to perform tasks related to your relationship with Send Me.
